New EPA/Industry Data Show Scrubber Wastewater High in Toxic Selenium, Boron

Samples collected by EPA and industry at seven plants measured concentrations of selenium and boron far above EPA or state water quality criteria.  The seven plants are Allen (Shelby County, TN), Belews Creek (Stokes County, NC), Dickerson (Montgomery County, MD), Hatfield’s Ferry (Green County, PA), Keystone (Armstrong County, PA), Miami Fort (Hamilton County, OH), and Pleasant Prairie (Kenosha County, WI).
